wolf's tail defines the man
goat's hair brushes
the woman
an afternoon moon
in my inkstone

the shape suspended
motion on a shelf
crazed with age
stiff and set
still, reflecting beauty

Creation

into the fire
the glass is thrown
molten image of earth's
core
sand, glass
earth again, the tide
recycles them all
