Really like what you did with form here. I think the 4-4-8 is a great count for a short poem. I like the way a tetractys consolidates and finishes the poem with an intensely musical last line. This isn't a tetractys, of course, but similar in concept, the rhythm perfect. Like a little kid I shout: "Do it again, do it again!"
It lives and drinks to live and nourish - yes!
