I was at an antiquarian book fair in Toronto this afternoon and came across signed copies of Sexton's "To Bedlam and Part Way Back" & "Live or Die". Inside "Live or Die" was a handwritten note on yellow lined paper from Sexton to the recipient apologizing for the condition of the book that had been caught briefly in the rain.
And no, I did not buy either. This was a REAL antiquarian book fair and way beyond my budget. A "look only" event.
What a great stomping heard here. Well done, Kay. (Sexton would have approved, I'm sure.)
ReplyDeleteAny time you mention Anne, you make me happy. Thank you for the compliment, friend.
