Moon Games

Deep in the woods, I hear the moon
bubbling up with laughter.
Hide and seeking between the trees,
he reveals his full self,
but once a month.

Sliver to mirrored sliver, he
darts--a dappled jester.
Home base, the earth he runs around;
batting comets, bouncing,
juggling the stars.
